Farmers Markets in the Tyler Area

Here in East Texas, we love fresh fruits and vegetables, and grow our own tomatoes, peppers, potatoes, herbs and more in our limited gardening space.

What we can't grow, we like to procure from local area farmers in East Texas. We enjoy fresh peaches, blueberries, corn, potatoes, blackberries, pumpkins, watermelons, cucumbers, tomatoes, squash, purple hull peas, and other vegetables ... in season of course!

It's all fresh, homegrown produce from area farms, and much of it is organic.

Canton Farmers Market
The Canton Farmers Market is a vendor-run market located on the main shopping road of Canton. Up on the hill among the hustle of the town is a place where farmers become friends.

The Canton Farmers Market is filled with wholesome produce that is the collective fruits of our labor. You can find farm fresh vegetables, meat, honey and more. The Canton Farmers Market strives to cultivate a healthier and sustainable lifestyle for Van Zandt County residents and more. Seasonal produce, free range meats, fresh eggs, artisan pantry staples can be found along with homesteading crafted items.

The Canton Farmers Market was created by a hard working, goal driven woman and a simple vision: Stacy Crossley wanted to create a market for the community where people can come together to enjoy fresh, locally sourced produce. We've been operating for over 6 years under the Main Street Program and have grown into a beloved local institution. We have now outgrown our small downtown area and have moved to a new location at Gabriel Ranch Premium Beef.

Canton Farmers Market is located at 700 East State Hwy 243, Canton, TX at Gabriel Ranch Premium Beef on the hill between Brookshire's and Walmart. The market is open every Saturday from 8 am to 12 pm.
